Jump Right In played at The Gun in Chiddingly, East Sussex.
The Gun is worth a visit as a destination pub for a bite to eat and a few drinks. Parking is plentiful at the side and there’s a nice garden and terrace where we played. There’s also a campsite nearby where many of the audience had come from.
With Alan a bit poorly, Terry Carter joined us at very short notice, so Jump Right In lined up with Neil Rigby (vocals / guitar), David Lofts (vocals / guitar), Terry Carter (vocals / harmonica), Steve Nicholls (drums) and Geoff Trickey (bass). The weather was hot but we had some shade from a parasol (some of us!).
We had a very enjoyable gig with plenty of interaction with the audience, we had a table in front celebrating a lady’s 70th birthday, so we sang her Happy Birthday! We played on the garden terrace patio in front looking out over the garden. The audience enjoyed our set and the sunshine equal measures!
