Jump Right In played at The Pheasant Plucker, Ide Hill, Sevenoaks, Kent.
The Pheasant Plucker, Ide Hill is a charming country pub with exposed beams, warming fireplaces and cosy corners befitting a famous country pub. Located close Sevenoaks, The Pheasant Plucker offers a lovely terrace at the back with a large garden, a restaurant and a private dining room area.
The Pheasant Plucker is child-friendly and dog-friendly too, so good for families with dogs.
Joining Neil, Daevid and Jim were Deps Nigel Collins on bass and the highly experienced Eddie Gentry on drums, so again we were in safe hands! Jump Right In line up was as follows: Neil Rigby (vocals / guitar), David Lofts (vocals / guitar), Jim James (harmonica / vocals), Eddie Gentry (drums) and Nigel Collins (bass / backing vocals).
It was a sunny afternoon with a full garden and the recent bank holiday rain a distant memory. We performed on the terrace next to the garden, at the back of the pub.
We did however have a short burst of rain, but we were ready with a tarp to cover over Eddie’s vintage drum kit! One of the highlights of the afternoon was an impromptu blues number with drumming coming out from underneath the tarp! Yes! It’s Eddie “The Tarp” Gentry from now on!😂😂😂
The rain went as quick as it came and we were all back to normal with members of the audience dancing which always is a pleasure to see!
